LEARNING BEGAN: National Dialogue needed

READ a 4-year study report (*) issued by The American Assembly entitled "Building a More United America" and culminating with a recommendation for a "National Dialogue among citizens."

(*) Chaired by: David Gergen

Funded by: Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation,                           Coca-Cola Foundation

ASSESSED: Yes! That's sounds like a great idea...

but how, when and where can I   "National Dialogue?"

"AH-HA" MOMENT!

With many films addressing intense and important "socio-economic" subject matters (Crash, Syriana, Good Night

and Good Luck, Brokeback Mountain and TransAmerica)  Actors and Directors kept saying during interviews that they hoped that the issues raised in the films would "become a part of the National Dialogue."

IDENTIFIED: What about that National Dialogue?

ASSESSED: What action can I take towards this now?

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

AND (dot-dot-dot)... ACTION! is here to empower all people from walks of life to connect the dots between their "freedom of expression rights" (as we chose to summarize them):

ACCESSING INFORMATION

VOICING//LISTENING (TO) OPINIONS

TAKING ACTION

These 3 "rights" seemed to not be connected to one another  became the core of our  action-purposed twist on a workshop:
